We provide educational opportunities, professional networking as well as advocacy on issues relating to breastfeeding/chestfeeding and the needs of IBCLCs in Canada. We are fully affiliated with the Breastfeeding Committee of Canada and adhere to the International Code on the Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes. The CLCA/ACCL advocates on behalf of the IBCLC, families and breastfeeding/chestfeeding advocates at all levels of government and in the private sector.
