About us
Our IBCLC members work in a variety of clinical, research and policy settings. We provide educational opportunities, professional networking as well as advocacy on issues relating to breastfeeding and the needs of IBCLCs in Canada. The CLCA is not a regulatory body. We are fully affiliated with the Breastfeeding Committee of Canada and adhere to the International Code on the Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes. The CLCA/ACCL advocates on behalf of the IBCLC, families and breastfeeding advocates at all levels of government and in the private sector. |
CLCA/ACCL is a national professional association representing International Board Certified Lactation Consultants in Canada. The CLCA is a registered non-profit organization committed to the protection and promotion of breastfeeding in Canada and the advancement of the IBCLC profession.
